It gives the heart new desires

Perfect love never fails
It is steadfast and always the same
It is like a wild and raging flame
that is always sustained
It takes away every pain
and transforms it into gain
Perfect love never fears
It is mighty, strong and fierce
Like a wildfire, it is intense
a source of infinite strength
It carries all burdens
and wipe away all tears
Perfect love is from God
Poured down from heaven above
It plants seeds of hope and joy
in soil that was declared destroyed
It is given freely to all
and can never be lost
