I have seen seasons come
  and have seen them go
I have seen nations go to war
  and have seen them seek for peace
I have seen towers stand tall
  and have seen them fall
I have seen riches and fortune gained
  and have seen them wasted away
I have seen men take their first breath
  and have seen them embrace death
I have seen friends part ways
  and have seen them meet again
I have seen people fall in love
  and have seen them fall out of love
I have seen sex being consecrated
  and have seen it being desecrated
I have seen a man born from a woman
  and have seen him die as a woman
I have seen vows being spoken
  and have seen them being broken
But I have never seen
  the Lord change
